After studying at the École des Beaux-Arts de Toulouse and earning a degree in Political Science from Trinity College Dublin, Chad Keveny has carried his paintbrushes across the world. His artistic journey has led him to residencies and exhibitions in China (Ox Warehouse, Macau), Brazil (Estúdio Lamina, São Paulo), Germany (Kultur-able Kulturverein, Berlin and Westwerk, Hamburg), and Argentina (Espacio Ftalo, Buenos Aires).
At the core of Keveny’s practice lies the narration of individual life stories — encounters and experiences gathered throughout his travels. Through his work, he reflects on the ways we relate to the world, inviting viewers to look more closely into the intimacy of others, their bodies, and their personal histories. Each piece becomes both a story told and a self-portrait, blurring the boundaries between observer and subject.
Drawing our past, drawing us, together. Local teenagers aged 12-18 joined artist Chad Keveny to create a booklet filled with the pictures and stories of family members who have migrated.
