Our Family Resource Centre has continued to grow and evolve to better meet the needs of our community
Our Family Resource Centre has continued to grow and evolve to better meet the needs of our community. We’ve expanded our range of programmes and supports for families, children, and individuals, while strengthening our role as an inclusive and welcoming community hub. A key milestone in our development has been the installation of a new lift, making our Centre fully accessible to everyone and ensuring that all members of the community can take part in activities and services with ease and comfort.

During the tenancy, the Board developed a sports and recreation facility, as well as classrooms, on the factory premises at Easkey. Despite the fact that the sports centre had a strong degree of interaction with young people, it was decided to relocate due to the building not meeting the characteristics of a modern Family Resource Centre and the running cost of the building.
